To ensure that your child’s lunch is healthy and nutritious, in accordance with the School’s Healthy Eating Policy – here are some suggestions:

  • Sandwiches (incl. bread rolls, pittas, wraps, scones, crackers, rice cakes)
  • Pasta
  • Yogurts
  • Cheese
  • Fruit
  • Popcorn

Water/Milk/Tea/Soup

We participate in the Food Dudes Initiative which introduces the children to various types of fruit and vegetables.  This initiative runs for 8-16 weeks and encourages children to taste and develop a taste for fruit/vegetables.

We would ask that nuts and spreads containing nuts (Nutella, peanut butter, etc.) are not included in your child’s lunchbox as we have some children in the school with nut allergies.

Whilst we do have a healthy eating policy in our school, treats may be given to children following special occasions.  Also, it is customary for children to bring in treats for a party on the last day of school.
