The BoM and School Staff are looking forward to welcoming all our pupils and parents / guardians back to school for the 2020/2021 school year on Monday next, 31st August.
We are satisfied that we have control measures in place to ensure that this will be a safe re-opening. It will take some time for all of us to get used to the “new circumstances” as we become familiar with the new routines and procedures designed to keep everyone safe and to prevent the spread of the virus. There will, undoubtedly, be some unforeseen challenges and we will deal with these as they arise.
To facilitate social distancing please adhere to the following drop off and collection times below.
Please note the changes in the drop-off times from the previous letter.
Drop-off Plan
Senior Infants to Sixth Class to arrive between 9:10am and 9:30am.
Junior Infants to arrive between 9:30am and 9:45am.
Ms Molony and Ms O’ Donnell’s classes will enter the school through the fire exit door at the back of the school (entrance beside the staff room).
Ms. Morrissey’s class will enter the school through the door beside her classroom (staff entrance).
Ms Millers class will enter the school through the fire exit door in the computer room.
Ms Ryan and Ms O’ Shea’s classes will enter the school through the main entrance door.
On the first morning of school there will be school personnel in the yard to direct the pupils.

Home times have been staggered to ensure that different class bubbles do not mix.
Junior and Senior Infants
Week 1:
Junior Infants will exit the school at 12:20pm.
Senior Infants will exit the school at 12:25pm
From Week 2:
Junior Infants will exit the school at 2:00pm
Senior Infants will exit the school at 2:05pm
First to Sixth Class
Ms. Molony’s class will exit the school at 2:55pm.
Ms. Millers class will exit the school at 2:58pm.
Ms. Morrissey’s class will exit the school at 3:00pm.
Ms. O’Donnell’s class will exit the school at 3:03pm.
Ms. O’ Shea’s class will exit the school at 3:05pm.
Please ensure that you are ready to pick up your children at the assigned times.
We would like to thank you for your co-operation in making preparations to date.We look forward to working with you as we help the children adapt to the necessary changes. We are also conscious of the fact that our pupils have not been in school since March and that they are looking forward to coming back to school to meet their friends again. We are aware that our new pupils are beginning a school year at a challenging time and have made plans to ensure that their arrival will be as free from stress as possible.
