Autumn

October 6, 2020

Junior Infants are learning all about autumn. We went on a nature walk around the school to see the signs of autumn. We all picked some lovely leaves.

For art we painted some autumn leaves. We know that the leaves are changing colours and that they falling from the trees  We used red, orange, yellow and brown paint. We also made some red squirrels. We made a bushy tail for the squirrel using some leaves. We learned that a squirrel’s tail helps them to balance when jumping from tree to tree and it also keeps them warm.
